Alright...this is my third posting in like 20 minutes..but while i've been goin' thru the google library i couldn't pass this one up. I've seen these before..but i can't watch em' without ending up in tears. It's still my ALL TIME favorite internet gem. I'm posting these for no other reason then i want it easily accessible to me at all times. They are out of sequential order..and the quality is kinda poor on one of em'..but man...i can't get enuff of these....

Google video is the best

Seriously...where else can you find this kinda stuff? my favorite parts come around the and 3 minute marks. Before you view this i'd like to pose some questions? How did these two decide who would be the lead and who would be the female back up? How many times did they hear this song to get this down? It's obviously on a prompter as you can see thier eyes moving...but who would EVER karaoke to this? Is this why you never see people of different races dating asian men? Are they US citizens? What does any of this matter? Tra la la....

My explorer..oh..and i love video...oh, and zukey

First of all...if it's not obvious by now..i figured out video on my blog. Nothing too it. Love google for that...but anywho..i'm now semi-dangerous on here. I'm thinkin' i'm gonna start throwin' up some good pics soon too..i love this pic of the girls i took yesterday...anywho..this video is great cause this lady just get racked. Can't make out what she was saying..but man, she was pissing off that other lady...it's at the bottom

Now, my explorer. I'm turning it in tomorrow...with mixed feelings. I LOVED that car. ZERO problems with it. Very depenable. Drove great. I'm gonna miss it. Same time, it's the last link i've really got to being married in my mind....as it was a major purchase me and shan made...so in that respect, i'm glad it's gonna go.

Of course this begs the question, why didn't i get another explorer? Well, i was..until the varsity ford guy was incompetent and dicked around for 2 days...i hate that place..they are all really cocky to me and act like they are smarter then me...of course, many of em', probably are..but still, i'm buyin' a car..they should come out with knee pads and a helmet to get ready for the fierce blow job i'd expect for payin' that much money for something.

Instead of mind blowing head, i get a phone call a WEEK later then i told the guy i wanted to buy a car saying "now, our cars are on sale! I can get you one for xxx amount! Ready to come in and buy?" Seriously...that's what he said. What an a-hole. i was 4 beers into shelly's party and he's lucky i didn't blow cause he actually threw guilt on me after i said no..i'm done there. The opposite happened at Cueter...

Nonetheless..i prob will get an explorer again..or something similar..i'll miss mine. Here's a bit of trivia..and this is completely unproven..but my pacifica looks to only be a few inches shorter heigth wise and actually longer then my explorer....wouldn't guess that...but it's true.

Now, onto zukey. I'm just blabberin' right now while i'm gettin' the kids ready for bed obviously...but we went to dinner at the ZLT tonight. Zukey lake tavern. Love the salad pizza. Everytime i have it i think how it's the best pizza i have. I mean right now i'm very satisfied. Not just full...but satisfied full. Big difference. The downer was Carly was on defcon 2...which isn't infrequent. I knew there'd be trouble right when they sat two little boys at the table next to us. Carly stands up on he chair..puts on the meanest scowl a 2 year old can have...stuck her arm out and said.."NO!! NO BOYS...DON'T SIT THERE!! YOU'RE MEAN AND I DON'T LIKE YOU!!"

I was chuckling at first..but then she did it again, and again...then one of the boys began to cry...their dad was shooting daggers...became uncomfortable..man that kid is a freakin' hot head.

Fez and Maria

I really like these guys. I even feel guilty for calling Fernando "Fez" all the time privately..but man, the resemblance is spooky. I'm writin' about them as i went to their party over the weekend and have some good impressions now.

First of all...the inside of the house is like an F'n' model home. Really pissed me off. Colorful paint, all brand new furniture...upgrades on everything...it really made me start to view my house like my old college apt. They went microsuede with EVERYTHING. Even the kitchen chairs. Here are the things that stuck out the most

1) The paint: now while the colors were really bright and it REALLY helped add to the warmth of the house..it was sloppy. I found smears and light smudges all over the place..still, looks WAY better then my eggshell white that is plain and dull. It convinced me i MUST paint. Makes the house look WAY better. So, i put that on my "to do list. Plus...the colors they used reminded me of a Mentos commercial. Too bright

2)The upgrades in their house are sweet. They got stainless steel everything..nicer vinyl..hardwood floors...and the cabinets are awesome. I didn't even have those to choose from in my house...which leads me to believe different models have different upgrades obviously. Their house is the biggest in the sub..not sure why when it's only the two of em'...but i'm sure they paid more and probably got a better package of crap to choose from. I was really bummed tho..again, REALLY made a difference...got me thinking of putting knobs on my cupboard doors.

3) Maria came to the US two years ago...she was a sitter for this family that was at the party...kinda fishy...there were awkward glances and stammers when i asked about it...Fernando is an electrical engineer...not sure what maria does besides look cute and work on her english...but she's good with my girls when she's been around. Fernando invited me to his poker party that starts 5/12...that should be good...

4) Pary itself: Was kinda exclusionary. It was one of those parties where only a few people knew each other and everyone looked as if they came from a different walk of life. Normally i would thrive in this environment, but with Carly in tow I was on serious kid watch..she just housed one of their microsuede chairs with a fistfull of strawberries....I think it was their wedding party that was there..maria's adopted family..a couple of his co-workers..another guy that only spoke spanish..me and carly and two corona's...that was it for me

5) Back to their furniture. While it was beautiful i knew it was from artvan cause i almost bought the exact same dining room table they had and recognized the sofa's. I didn't cause i have the two girls. There is NO WAY anyone with little kids would own the stuff they have...which coincidentally they are gonna try next year to have one...say hello to carpet cleaner people...that stuff is gonna be trashed.

6) Overall, the party was lame, which i knew it would be the instant i walked in and heard daniel powders' "bad day" on the radio. But they are really nice. For neighbors, i'm happy.....

Why I switched to Firefox

This video pretty much sums it up. I've already noticed i have somethign running behind my screens in IE explorer when I start up on the net. Not a big deal..but just ridiculous since i haven't gone to any sites that are remotely shady since i've owned this computer. Firefox has WAY more protection...plus tabs! Check it out

EBAY ROLL

Well..i just got back from the park...Twisters ice cream in chelsea (where if you've never been there they mix their soft serve with different flavors..ie-today i had apple harvest ice cream. Not bad). Then to the grocery store...small talked with Fernando who i've decided is a SPITTING IMAGE of Fezz from That 70's Show..and came in the house to unload. I glance over at my computer to see my gmail account notifier is blue..which means mail..I sit down to see 12 EMAILS FROM EBAY! I had 12 items sell between 1:05 and 2:30 today...items i thought WOULD NEVER SELL!! I mean border line junk here people. Unbelievable. I'm building my deck this summer courtesy of Ebay.
I'm up over $1100 and am looking for anything and everything to sell online now.

Speaking of Fernando, he's having a party tonight i'm going too...i can't wait. I'll have Carly with me..so i won't get drunk or anything, but i KNOW i'll have some good impressions coming out of this. I really like him and his wife Maria.

Now, back to EBAY..in honor of me celebrating my own succes..sad i know..but i've decided to share with my loyal readers some of the joy i get from ebay. In the past i've re-shown old emails on here that i've found funny..well..when you sell old wrestling videos and video games online you get some priceless comments from prospective buyers...i've decided on my favorite email address from these babylon 5 goers too. It's actually a tie. Two of my buyers actually shared an address that started off with Kalel....which, for those of you who don't know was Superman's name on his home planet....I believe..cough, cough.

This is my 100th blog entry..which means i've got 1) WAY too much time on my hands 2) I think i'm way more interesting then i probably am to others and 3) I enjoy writing and should pursue it more seriously.

Eh, screw it...it's just fun.

Now, for the important stuff. Last nite's OC ..which for those of you that don't know i'm a big OC guy...left me disappointed. Very disappointed actually. To fill in the "NON - OC" watchers out there..the main character Ryan atwood....a high school senior SUPPOSEDLY got his old girlfriend pregnant back in season 1. She had the baby and it left it as her mom telling her not to tell Ryan about it. Well...now it's season 3..two years of teases about this and it finally reaches it's conclusion...almost matter of factly. VERY little build up to it..no big hype..almost like it was a side bar. This was the 600 pound gorilla in the room everybody knew was there but nobody was talking about thru out the whole show!! Very disappointed in how it was handled.....OH! and to top it all off? the baby wasn't even Ryan's...it was her ex-boyfriend eddies'. Come on OC!! You normally do better then this....

I got WAYYYY to drunk last nite

Night started off pretty innocently..i was heading out the door to go to target to buy some clothes for the girls and some household crap i've been meaning to buy when a buddy at work says "hey, you gotta come to the bar with me". I of course, being the responsible guy i am said no. It was just gonna be him and another chick and i really didn't want to go..finally i said if he could get a 4th..i'd go. So i leave..sure enuff 1 minute later my phone rings...he found a 4th. So, i meet em' up at Carlyle's..this new bar on jackson road. I promised myself i'd only have 2 beers..welll..i had 3...3 really big ones and then proceeded to follow some other friends from work that dropped in to banfield's down the road for another very tall beer and a very tall captain and coke.

Needless to say it was a fun time...but i didn't get home till 12. Not cool. I feel like ass today...i woke up with a fan on in the hallway upstairs for some reason..a frozen pizza unwrapped and sitting on a cookie sheet on top of my stove that was now ruined...the pan in fact was dirty that i was gonna use...and i realized i downloaded about 3 hours of porn when i got home that i never watched on my computer. Good nite.

The Empire Strikes Back

Seriously...what are the odds of me running into another sleeping kid poop two nights in a row? Slim? little? None? i'd have thought all three. Well, i was wrong. 10:30...I walk upstairs and sure enuff..as i make what is now known as "dead man's curve" in my stairwell..i picked up the scent of the elusive poop. Unbelievable...this time tho i had to go no further then Carly's room. She had blown off her diaper with what can only be described as "fire hose velocity" from her bowel movment and, like her sister from the night before was covered in poo.

Same routine as the previous nite...the rewarding part was after getting it all cleaned up..and tossin' her into bed with me like i did with shelly the night before...i laid down and looked over at her. She was suckin' her thumb as she always does and got this HUGE smile on her face. I could tell how much she liked being in my bed with her daddy. I asked her if she was happy to be in here with me and she gave a furious head nod and even bigger smile. So, she laid on me all nite. It was cute...but at the same time, i REALLY hope that's the end of the diabocle dirty diaper run of luck i've been having.

Sleeping Kid Poop

So, last nite after i finish another furious round of Ebaying..which by the way is still at a fast and furious pace...i decide to go to bed. It's about 11 o'clock..i turn off all the lights..check the doors to make sure they are locked and proceed to walk up the stairs. As I make the turn to go up the top half of the stairs I noticed an all too familiar smell that strikes fear in every single father's heart....sleeping kid poop.

I wish I could describe this smell to you all, but i can't. Sleeping kid poop is the worst of all the poops. "Sleeping kid poop" is worse then "wet diaper full of pee poop", "runny poop", "sticky poop", "hard poop", "uncontrollable poop" and the dreaded "can't stay in a pile cause it's like rabbit poop" poop.

It has a very distinct odor..one that lingers and can fill up an entire floor of a home. What makes this kind of poop the most venomous of all the poops in the solid waste family? It's cause the kid who made the sleeping kid poop is still sleeping and normally covered in her poop. Last nite was no exception.

So, I make the turn upstairs and immediately think "oh, it's probably just carly..she didn't go poop tonite and it's probably just in her diaper". So, i check her first...nothing. She's clean. That's when my heart began to beat faster..cause i knew it was shelly...and let me tell ya..Shelly can poop with the best of em'. The thought of her having a sleeping kid poop was terrifying. Carly's are normally awful...but shelly's poops are big enuff that someone could follow her with a broom and pan like the horses at a parade. They are that big...kind of a source of pride really.

So, i go into her room..and sure enuff...she was covered in poop. Poor kid was still sleeping and had no idea she had gone. Her pj's were covered..her body...all her sheets and blankets...just a total mess. So, i take off her jammies and toss her half asleep still in my shower so I could scrub her off. Then I did the unenviable task of CAREFULLY picking thru her sheets and carrying what i could to the washer (i am SO thankful for second floor washer and dryer!!) while being careful not to lose any chunks on the carpet. Two loads of laundry later and a good shower for me and shelly, things were back to normal.

I think she had some kind of bug...it's not like her to do that and this morning she took another big poop which means she is fighting something. She seems fine besides that. On the bright side, she slept in bed with me which i hadn't allowed since we moved into the new house as her and carly have been doing great in their own beds and I have to admit i enjoyed having here in there with me again for the one night. Of course i was scrunched onto the one side of the bed while she was spread out like a box kite over the rest of the king bed..but i had missed her in there with me. So, it was a nice one time thing for us again. Brought back all the memories of me tickling her back and helping her go to sleep for all those years..that's for sure.

However, again..for those of you with kids you know what i'm talking about. For those without..BEWARE OF THE SLEEPING KID POOP!!"

Shelly's birthday...

Went very well!! Shan did a great job getting everything set up at her house and it went off without a hitch. I'm sure some people felt awkward around some other people in both places....but nothing weird or uncomfrotable happened that affected me so i was happy with that. Shelly was great. She listened, and shared and was VERY polite. I am/was very proud of her that day. She's really becoming a good person and it's fun to see her grow into the woman she'll be one day.

She got her standard barbie/cinderella stuff she wanted and some great wall hangings for her new room.

Tonite Scot's mom is coming over to re-upholster out kitchen chairs and start getting ideas to decorate the girls rooms with which will REALLY help. I need that motherly influence on these types of things and she's perfect for it! I can't wait to see what she decides to do in there.

Elsewhere...i've decided Meijer is my haven for random run in's..every time i've been there i've seen not just one but multiple people i know. Sunday it was TWO of shelly's daycare teachers AND a Heller. Crazy. i look forward to going there now just to see WHO i'm gonna bump into.

I had yesterday off and got a bunch of odds and ends wrapped up with around the house and i have friday off..of which i hope i do even less....this is our last slow week of the year. Next week it picks up again and I plan on working more...which honestly i'm totally ready to get back in the swing of things.

Where is my ebay account you ask? At a healthy $578. Yep..all from old wrestling videos..people buy these things like they are the golden goose. What a niche. I've become an ebay addict. i want to ebay right now.

I can't believe i'm at work...again...this late

Well..this is my last late shift for awhile. Thank God. I hate it. The only week slower in csi business sales then this week is next week. I'm sitting there with 3 other people waiting to answer calls in the middle of tax season in the hopes of someone taknig a break from taxes to want to buy something. It just doesn't happen...so..in summary..i'm bored and ready to blog.

The exciting this is i recently discovered there are cedar planks that you soak in water for a day or so...then place on a grill to grill salmon/chicken/tuna..whatever with. Tonight is my first crack at it. If it turns out good, i'll be giving the info on em' tomorrow. The premise is the cedar planks will infuse the fish with a smoky flavor. I love to grill and if these things work i'm gonna really re-evaluate how i cook.

Second cool thing is I have Monday off! So..i'm gonna get up and go to Lowe's i decided and look into deck materials. If anyone has any suggestions as to where to go that's good and cheap, please let me know. I've heard menard's is the cheapest...but that's just heresay and i'd rather not go all the way to jackson for it. Lowe's has deck builder software online you can play with as well too....which i'm doing right after this!

Tomorrow is Shelly's birthday! The picture of the cake is the kind of thing shelly is getting....sh LOVES princess stuff.Well, it's the party for her anyways. Her actual birthday is 4/12. We are having it as shan's house and i'm pretty excited to see how much fun she has. These are the days that when they come I really try to appreciate the fact that this is why i work all year round to enjoy and see things like shelly having fun at her party. Plus, i'm sure we'll have beers.

Paul got me thinking...

Per his earlier comment about how i should start selling my old baseball cards. My first thought was "yeah, jeff should sell all his smurf's and the ewok village too" but then my focus went back to baseball. To sell cards on ebay now the majority of em'..not all of em'..have this PSA rating. Where a card is given a ranking basically of 1-10. 1 being crappy condition...poor color...worn..etc..10 being perfect card..great color..sharp corners on the edges..etc. Now to get this rating, you have to first send your cards to the company..for a fee...then have them send em' back. So, you have to hope..or at least think you are gonna get a great ranking on your card to even consider sending it.

Now..after that..THEN you can try to sell your card. Not everyone does this..i've seen cards up there that have no ratings on em'. But the ones that are rated can get major bucks. So..i guess it comes down to iis If you have a popular card of a major superstar..like his rookie card..or a rare card for whatever reason and if it's in great condition..it's probably worth your time to send it in to get the psa rating...if not...i would just throw it in an album or sleeve and put it up in a collection. Just a bit overwhelming for the effort i'd want to put into it i think...but may be fun to dabble....


What i REALLY miss is tho is the old days of baseball cards. Back when you could buy a pack of 15 cards AND get a stick of gum for 25 cents. In 1980 i used to get a quarter every week for cleaning my room and on saturday morning my mom would take me and jeff to the cardshop in dexter and then to the bakery for a donut. I'd buy one pack of cards a week and LOVED IT!! Now, the average pack of cards is like $5!! Scot works sometimes for his future father in law who owns a sportscard shop..he has packs of cards that have THREE CARDS in em' that sell for like $75 bucks a pack!!! 3 cards!! Of course they are all part of a limited numbered series or are autographed or have a piece of a game worn jersey....but man it's nuts.

back when i was little there was just topps. Then donruss and fleer came out and that wad cool...but a bit overkill....then upperdeck...stadium club...pacific..etc, etc...now there are like 100 card company manufacturer's and it's impossible to keep track of em' all.

I miss the good old days. I miss my 25 cent pack of 1980 topps and hoping to catch the top bright purple and pink of a Roy Smally all star card when the pack is first cracked open or a pete rose or reggie jackson..or the made up "in action" cards where a guy would be sliding in the picture. And does anyone else remember flipping cards?? nothin' was more satisfying then calling "baby blue" and having someone throw down a 1980 robin yount card right after on the pile which you could then claim as your own..altho fights always errupted over the variable colors...i still miss it.

well...i'm still writing..and i'm bored

I'm at work...till 7 tonite..my "team" is on the lateshift which means i have to stay till 7 today and friday. It sucks cause this is the second slowest week of the year...just beating out next week.

My ebay account is up over $300 so far. that's off just 7 videos. unbelievable. I'm going over to shan's tomorrow to dig thru an old bag..i think i have left some more over there...these things are black gold people. i've found a niche.

i have tomorrow off work!! So that's keeping me going. and next monday and next friday off!! then, that's it for several months....sigh..oh well...the slow season at work is almsot done which i enjoy for the break in selling..but i'm looking forward to getting busy again....the days go by much faster.

news updates: my dvd player got put in my pacifica....can't wait to start playin' with it..haven't touched it tho yet...and my mortgage lady screwed up my mortgage and it sounds like was canned....she signed me up for a standard 30 year p&I loan, but i wanted an interest only loan the first year...LUCKILY..her boss called me..she's coming over to my house with her family (lol) on sunday with the new papers. I've made the decision too...that every month i'm gonna put 200 bucks into my savings account so at the end of the year i can put the accumulated total into my house. or another investment...haven't decided which yet....alright...i'm gonna surf the web for another 50 minutes and go home..

I wanted to start doing the random run-in thing as it almost is comical to me how often i bump into someone with whom i have an acuaintence with. I've been tardy updating it..so if i leave anyone out i'm sorry. i'll remember you next time.

jim and judy dedes outside of the pharmacy. honked thier horn which stopped traffic. Luckily i was just walking IN to buy liquor and porn and not walking out after i had made the purchases. They were elaine's old neighbor's...i bumped into their daughter maris at the bar if you remember in my other random run in from earlier.

Paula..my old neighbor from huron farms at meijer...i had to stop and talk to her for awhile about her daughter....she's very perky. like she's always drinking coffee. i normally avoid eye contact.

Ted and Lisa..my other old neighbors who i bumped into at the whitmore lake mcdonald's..this one was a great run in as ted offered to build my deck for me for free. he's a mastercraftsman.

Steve Trammel...again at Meijer...that place is a landmine of run in's. Steve and i graduated together and he runs his uncle's party store down by the riverl.

Whitney and Matt Parachek...breakfast in dexter...another haven for run in's..graduated with whitney, met matt at my old gym. both are really nice and cool people. I'll miss them being neighbors.

Stephanie Hale...work associate who i bumped into at the chelsea big boy sunday morning while i was with the girls.

Alex wallace..outside of the bank. small talked about his hummer...how he was out with maris the nite before...how i should come by the a & w more often...(he owns it)...etc..etc..

i could throw todd and cindy from work in here too along with todd's cousin's wife and the hot chick that cuts my hair, cause their kids all go to my kids' daycare..but those arne't too random anymore. so i won't count them.

That's about all I can think of....you know, i'm not sure why i enjoy writing about this...but this is seriously all like within a 10 day period. and i BARELY go anywhere....oh..and the joffe brothers...matt and ben at best buy. okay, i'm done.

I need help

I'm on ebay all the time selling things now. It's awful I've sold 5 videos and have another 6 up for sale that i'm sure will go too..it's easy, it's fun and i have a problem. I can't stop!

I'm looking around the house at things and saying to myself "would shelly or carly REALLLLLLYYY miss this if i sold it?" It's bad. I can see why ebay is so successful.

On another note...i won TWO NCAA tournament pools this year. That's really pretty incredible. I'll be the first person to say you have to be really lucky to win one...especially with all the people involved in them, the odds are stacked highly against you. But to win too is crazy. The funny thing is i didn't pick the winner in either pool!

Okay, so i've been meaning for YEARS to sell some of the useless crap i've collected thru the ages. Well, finally, i decided to sell some OLD wrestling videos i had from like the early to mid 90's. And frankly, i'm now addicted. I've posted 8...the first three sold in an hour for $50 each and i've got more that i KNOW will sell for similar amounts. I can't believe i've waited this long to do this!!

I get instant payments thru people's credit cards into my paypal account instantaneously! So addicting...I feel like Chris Rock in New Jack City when he was tryin' to sober up..it's awesome. I love posting..answer questions from guys with email addresses like takerfan13 and hbk4ever...lol. It's great!!!

Other news...If Florida wins tomorrow night i win the big pool at work..about $450 clams...if UCLA wins..i get second and win like $230. I'm gonna create a slush fund for myself with my gambling winnings and ebay profits...i think i'll buy a sweet tv down the road or something else i'll really enjoy.....
