People in Development don't poop

Here at my work pooping can be a challenge. I'll break this down. I'm at the Dexter campus where there are three buildings. I'm in building 3, which has two floors with a total of 6 stalls. Building two has 3 total stalls and building one has 4 stalls spread out over 3 bathrooms.

I'm in sales, and guys in sales poop constantly. I mean CONSTANTLY. We have three stalls down here but one is automatically off limits because it's the handicap stall which our president uses and nobody in their right mind wants to be the A-hole caught in there if he comes in and finds you in it. So,that leaves us 2 poopers we can use.

In other words, it's full all the freakin' time. So, i don't even bother going in there to poop as whenever i do i end up just passing right thru do to over congestion. Plus, the ventilation in this bathroom is HORRID. Smells like old cheese most days in there.

So, I'm a two a day kinda guy. I've gotten into quite a reliable pattern of pooping here that works out with no waits and gives me the solitude i require to poop well. I go upstairs where our development team is around 10ish every day. That bathroom is ALWAYS empty. The seat is always warm for some reason (which i don't like cause it means someone probably just got up and left) but it's always open.

Then around 2ish (or right when i'm done posting this in other words) i walk down to building two where finance and web development poop. Again, always open. Those guys must eat a lot of cheese cause i have no problems in their bathrooms findin space AND in building two there is always a gentle breeze with a hint of cinnamon floating thru the air.

I stay away from building one normally for two reasons. 1) the bathrooms are old and antiquated and 2) there's some hard ball shitters in those buildings and if you walk in on one of em' the stench will knock your shoes off.

Gotta run....!! literally....

Disturbia

Watched this last nite..it was okay. What was really disturbia-ing was the fact that after trying to place quirkily obnoxious shia lebouf's mom from my past video watching i finally realized who it was. Carrie Ann Moss plays his mom who was "trinity" in the matrix films. I couldn't place her simply because she was now old, beatend down and overweight.

Such a shame...really, she had so much potential...

Side note: I decided to go with this picture of her, cause frankly, it' probably not her. After googling images of her I realized she was really never that hot to begin with , hence the rear shot above.

In other words, ignore this post, it's pure hypocrisy.

So

my summers are busy. Really, really busy. Which I like, but at the same time..i'm glad it's winding down. Basketball is over..which, after a bad year, i'm especially glad for it to end. I may not play next year..it's fun and all, but a real strain on my weekly schedule with trying to find time with the girls and their lives...it may have to go.

Golf is about a month to go as well..which, while i haven't written about it, has been a strong source of pride for me this year. One of my goals last year was to become respectable at golf and now, after a year of playing I can break into the mid 40's on a fairly regular basis, which, after being able to barely even hit the ball my first year, i feel pretty good about. Same time, it's a scheduled event, which while I love it, will be glad when it's done so i have more time for other things like alicia and myself!

Between those things, working on projects inside and outside the house and handling the girls, summers are swamped. Hence, not writing much. I did have a great weekend however.

Great idea by alicia, we took the girls to pick blueberries saturday morning at this MASSIVE blueberry farm. Carly freakin' loved it, which is a victory by itself. Both girls had a blast and then with Alicia's help we made a pair of unbelievably tasty blueberry pies. Then, Jeff and Sarah and Ben and Anna came down so we hit the pool sat nite, grilled out, lit some leftover fireworks..good day for sure.

Today, since it rained I took the girls to see Ratatouille..which was your standard disney pixar show. They really enjoyoed it..hit the new big boy restaurant on zeeb road, and then Scot came over which I have to admit was nice. Hadn't seen him since the wedding and he was very excited to start hangin out again which I would like as my friends in the immediate area aren't as plentiful as they once were.

Finally, something happened at big boy which i thought was nice. There was an old guy and his wife sitting kitty corner from us at the restaurant. He reached into this bag he brought and began blowing up balloons and making them into animals. He made one for Carly, one for Shelly and one for every other kid that was in there. Basically, he came to eat with the sole intention of making some kids happy. You don't see that very often from people. Random acts of kindness are rare and what he did I thought was pretty neat..the girls loved it!
